Crazy to see some of the homes being built in the North woods. A lot of the areas are loosing there North woods charm. Was always neat to boat on the lakes and see all the old cabins,most have been replaced with huge homes.

This past winter took a bag trip which part of the route was the cisco chain, I have never seen that area and was surprised that some of the places I saw that I thought were lodges were actually private homes, some had log pillars bigger than I have ever seen. To me the huge homes are ugly, and making the up north dream or living on the water dream untouchable to most.

Crazy! Money money money! Kind of sad. Oh well, more power to the owner I guess.
