Is there a way to post pictures in a “forum” wanted to put pictures up under “taking grandkids fishing” but did not see an option to do so and ended up posting on pictures page?

Yeah, I’ve been back and forth with the I.T. guys. It’s one of those scenarios like, “this is what we can give you” and “but this is what I want”. For the time being, the general discussions is the best way to post pics.

Does anybody have a SQUARE PEG FOR A SQUARE HOLE? ANYBODY? I just spent a considerable amount of time (again) on the same issue with the same people. Regarding posting pictures on the Forum. To be perfectly honest, it’s probably not worth your time and effort. For all intents and purposes it’s best to post your photos on the General Discussion page or the Picture page itself. To post on the Forum, requires about 8 or 9 steps and I can only imagine the frustration by some Members. I know the feeling firsthand. For the time being, let’s keep this on the back burner and see if there’s actually a need for it down the road. Waaay down the road.

Brian, there is a way to do it but it’s not very user-friendly. It works the same way the “Insert Image” worked on the old JD forum. I used it a lot there so I am familiar with the method. The photos have to be uploaded to somewhere on the web . Then, to post a photo, you click on the little “img” tab to create a link to the photo location. Posting photos in the he general pages is so much easier. I have tried it but it doesn’t seem to be working right now. Gary is going to address this with the developers.
