Brian, you keep getting those grandkids out there. In what will seem like no time at all, they’ll be this age and loving fishing.

That’s my hope Kelly! and let me clear something up…this is NOT the first time I wanted to take them up north or fishing…it WAS the first time I was able to and now not only is it about forging relationships but exposing them to the outdoors and fishing, want to do this while it is cool so that when they are that age they will still love it. My son (their dad) would always come with when I tournament fished and fished on the big pond (lake michigan) when he was three he spent most of the time sleeping below in the cabin. Funny thing is I have a picture he drew of us fishing when he was very young, shows the boat, water, down riggers, fish below with down rigger balls, line and lures and has him sleeping below in cabin LOL!, I belonged to a fishing club at the time and we had kid contests, this was before there were “participation trophies” my son has quite a few trophies and I showed my grandson a picture of my son holding a trophy for a big rainbow trout he reeled in that I will never forget, brought it to back of boat and it wasnt done yet, zig zagged back and forth across the back of the boat and tangled up all the lines i had in tow. So my grandson was going to catch a “rainbow trout” lol and I kept telling him we were on the wrong lake LOL, then a big fish had jumped near by and he was convinced it was a “rainbow trout” LOL. Needless to say it was an incredible time and im sure and hope a memory they will never forget and many more to come. Sorry if long winded
