Some not so deep thoughts on a Sunday night.

August has arrived and it means that I’m starting to make some noises about getting my project painting done. The first step in setting up my “paint booth” is to move some sleds into the house garage to give me some room to paint.

I don’t normally see most of these sleds on a regular basis and it kind of catches me a little off-guard whenever I go into the garage. now,. Granted, there’s a ringer in the group but I still get a lot of satisfaction looking at this bunch, not because it represents some unusual personal skill, but because it’s likely that these sleds have been given a new lease on life and will never see a salvage yard or the crusher. They will always be part of someone’s collection.
