How do you guys/gals feel about the very potential permanent daylight savings time? Seeing some potential sunrise maps I can say I won’t like it and should keep it as it is. I am a morning person, and the one think I will not care for is not seeing sunlight until 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. I’m sorry but that will just flat out suck!! I wish they would just leave it alone.

I am for it, really, the time change here in the winter makes little difference. During the winter, we don’t see daylight until around 8:00 am with the change, as such, the kids are still going to school in the dark. To me, the time change is a disruption in sleep pattern. They have been discussing making a permanent change for years, I wish they would just quit talking about it & do it already. Just my .02

I’d prefer they leave it as is.

seen some studies that suggest daylight savings time causes stress and people with bad health can cause heart attacks so i would say make it Permanent What ever did we do before we started doing this

    First post on snowtrails!

I switched from dfattack to dfride here. I’ve been wanting to do that change for years.

Anyway, I don’t care which time they choose as long as we don’t spring ahead and fall back anymore. Pick one and let’s go.

We will see what happens, again I hope they don’t make it permanent, I am a morning person, and I don’t care if it would just be in the winter months I don’t want to wait till almost 9:00 for daylight. Don’t quote me but thought I had heard they tried this once before and it didn’t even last a full year and people pushed for the return of daylight savings time. To each his own but I prefer the early morning sunrises. IMO… when winter rolls around and have to wait longer for daylight, especially for people like myself who are up at 4:30 a.m. I would think that it would have more of an alleged “life/health altering” affect than gaining or losing an hour of sleep twice a year, just my two cents worth.
