I’m just lucky to be here!
Considering the dumb and dangerous stuff I did in my teens and twenties, I just have to shake my head and wonder. Some say you make your own luck and that may be my case. My hobbies are numerous and snowmobiles have been a part of my life since Dad bought our first family machine when I was 12 years old. Years later, I’m hosting a website for the very same people that share one of my interests. So, I guess I’ve come full circle. How’s that for luck?
Hobbies and Interests
Depending on the season my interests vary. My travels have included several Civil War battlefields, The Texas School Book Depository and the Grassy Knoll. The NASA missle range in Florida, and Boulder Dam near Las Vegas. Yeah, I’m a history nut!
My summer ride is a Can Am Spyder for mostly around town. I’m told I’m a master at grilling the perfect steak and no one has ever turned down my ribs from the smoker.
Lastly, one of my side hustles provides rustic furnishings for a restaurant group made from antique, repurposed lumber.
Education and Employment
UW Madison, Technical School, & Hard Knocks
I’ve always admired the people that knew what they wanted to do coming out of high school and made a lifetime of their choice. I guess I get bored too easily. After attending UW Madison, I’ve worn several hats including Broadcast Communications, Logistics and Aviation.
Along the way I caught a couple of breaks, invested well, and retired early from Corporate America before they could suck the life out of me. At the end of the day, I still work part-time along with a side hustle and hobbies to keep me occupied & engaged.

they would’ve said, Faster Horses”
