My new rear bumper for the 2026 Kawasaki Ridge Platinum Ranch Edition. For some reason it didn’t come with one. Chose this heavy duty beast with LED lights in it. The bumper is a product of Extreme Metal Products-EMP. Thank you to Chad and his service department at M&M Powersports for their top notch service.

Yes, I had found it and it has been an invaluable source of information, especially the manuals. But, in general, it’s a very cool site with a lot of historical info. Thanks for suggesting it though, as I think others will find it interesting as well!

It’s worse today. Here is a shot from this morning at the boat launch in Lake Linden. You cannot even see across the short distance to the opposite shoreline, forget about visibility when you get out to the open water, crazy!

Canadian wildfire smoke has arrived here in the Keweenaw. Fine ash is actually falling here & the smoke smell is like it’s actually burning in our back yards. Nasty!

Does anyone have a preference for a chainsaw chain sharpener? It’s kind of and art that I haven’t quite mastered yet. I won’t even cut wood without a sharp chain, i have about four chains, with typically 2-3 sharp and ready to go.

Brian, there is a way to do it but it’s not very user-friendly. It works the same way the “Insert Image” worked on the old JD forum. I used it a lot there so I am familiar with the method. The photos have to be uploaded to somewhere on the web . Then, to post a photo, you click on the little “img” tab to create a link to the photo location.…Read More

Yeah , all of the regular, non-forum pages work the same way as the photo page so it’s super easy to post photos in any of the them. I can see the forums being a great thing for longer conversations though.

Yeah, I’ve been back and forth with the I.T. guys. It’s one of those scenarios like, “this is what we can give you” and “but this is what I want”. For the time being, the general discussions is the best way to post pics.
