Got in my truck on Saturday night and the thermometer read a cool 100 degrees. Granted,, it was sitting in the parking lot so it was a little inflated. It got down to 98 by the time I got home. Much better!

I feel for you Mezz. i can’t remember if it was last summer or the summer before but the smoke was so thick here visibility was down to less than a quarter-mile. I was crazy! Certainly couldn’t have been healthy.
There is a sequence you can go through to post photos in the forums. (see my last post in the Hello Again forum). it’s not as quick as the regular discussion pages but it’s not too bad, especially if you already have another place on the web where you can store photos I use Goggle Blogger (blogger.com), which is free.
It works the same way the photo insert worked on the old JD forum. You’re a pretty tech-savvy guy, i think you would find it useful, especially as the winter season arrives and people really see the advantage of this forum capability and start to generate threads regularly.

This is really cool. The kids got out in the boat and even caught fish! Bluegills and Sunnies are a great way to introduce kids to fishing. Hungry little critters. Hats off to you for managing the little herd with all that going on.
I can relate to the Zebco. Was out fishing with our son once and when he was reeling in a pretty good-sized Walleye, the cone on his 202 fell off. What a fiasco that was.
Up here in the tundra, it looks like we will be spared the worst of it, maybe high temps in the 80’s. East of here though (as in SE Wisconsin), Wow! If the forecast holds, it’s gonna be ugly.
Awesome! She won’t make it up this year, as she gave birth to our first great granddaughter but one of the true joys in life has been to take her fishing. She is crazy about fishing and a natural at it. More often than not, she puts more fish in the well than me.
